Keri Verwolf, CT

Keri is grateful to be a part of the Sytsema team as the Grief Support and Community Education Specialist. She is Certified in Thanatoglogy: Death, Dying and Bereavement (CT) and a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). Having experienced grief through death loss, Keri understands the great value of grief support in the community, and is honored to walk alongside families who are grieving. 

Keri earned a Spanish Education degree from Calvin College and spent 5 years living and teaching abroad in Honduras. She returned to West Michigan as a Spanish Immersion teacher at Muskegon Christian School. Keri also serves as the Family Services Coordinator at Starlight Ministries, a non-profit organization that provides hope and healing for those grieving a death loss. She enjoys spending time with her husband Fernando, family and close friends, traveling, and playing volleyball.
